Design and food have long been inseparable. Their relationship is evermore sophisticated, with designers not only working with the shapes and colours of food for commercial use, but also looking at how food can be a mechanism for human interaction, communication and entertainment.

Martí Guixé

Martí Guixé trained as an interior and industrial designer in Spain and has produced highly regarded commercial work for almost 20 years, with clients such as Alessi, Vitra and Droog Design. He examines the way food can be a mass produced consumerable and likes to challenge the ways we see it and interact with it.

Julie Rothhahn

Julie Rothhahn graduated from l'Ecole supérieure d'art et design de Reims. She uses playful ways to present deeper concepts of food and works with artisans, caterers, events producers and other parts of the food industry.

TourDeFork are a Milan-London based culinary creative consultancy founded in 2011 by Claudia Castaldi, photographer & food stylist and Stefano Citi, product designer. D-BROS was formed by graphic designers in Tokyo in 1995 as a product design project with an emphasis on innovative graphic design. It has developed and commercialized a wide range of items, including greeting cards and other stationery, clocks and other interior accents, glasses and other kitchen tools.

Here Design

Here Design is a small team of multi-disciplinary designers based in East London. The studio was set up in 2005, by Kate Marlow, Caz Hildebrand and Mark Paton. They have a client list of individuals, brands, charities and institutions, including Adidas and Bacardi. Their experience includes design and strategic thinking for branding, packaging, print, publishing, point-of-sale, products and websites.
