ROPID (Regional Organizer of Prague Integrated Transport) is tendering an international design competition for a new wayfinding system for the Czech capital. The aim of the competition is to select a team of experts who can demonstrate the best ability to create a smart wayfinding system suitable for all citizens and visitors of historical Prague. Our challenge is to create an inclusive system - for school children, adults or seniors, for pedestrians and public transport users, for persons with disabilities, for people in a hurry to get to work and those just wandering and enjoying the city.
Competition type
The format of the competition is international, restricted two-phase design competition.
Any number of participants can enter the competition. Based on the decision of the international expert jury, the contracting authority selects those who will be invited to submit competition proposals in the 1st phase of the competition.
